MUST I HAVE MY OWN HORSE TO COME FOR RIDING LESSONS?

Not at all. We have a variety of horses and ponies for all ages and skilled levels of riders.

However, if you do own your own horse / pony and would like to have riding lessons on them - anytime!

Our skilled and professional instructors will be able to assist you and your own horse and focus on areas which need development in order for you to become perfect partners.

I want to start riding lessons, what riding gear do i need?

If you have decided that you seriously want to pursue the amazing sport of horse riding you will need the following basics:

Breeches / Jodhpurs, Horse riding shoes with a low heel, a riding helmet designed specifically for horse riders and a comfortable shirt as well as riding gloves.

However, if you are still deciding whether you want to continue with horse riding you will only need the following items:

Comfortable long pants which has a stretchy fabric, closed shoe with a low heel (no tekkies please!) and a comfortable shirt. We supply horse riding helmets, so before you invest you can decide if this is something you would like to continue doing. It is really this easy.

do you offer diy livery for my horse?

Currently we do not have any DIY livery packages.

However, feel free to contact us to discuss your query.

which equine insurance company would you recommend?

Most of our horses and ponies are insured with Equipage Insurance Brokers who are underwritten by HOLLARD. We have had amazing service from them.

Some of our client horses are also insured by Kuda Equine Insurance.

which concentrates do you feed your horses?

Our horses are proudly fed by Platinum Feeds.

Roughage, depending on the season, consists of Eragrostis, Oat Hay, Lucerne and Smutsfinger.

i want to book an outride only but have never ridden before?

We cater for all levels of riders (even if you have never even touched a horse before) and our skilled and professional instructors and safe horses and ponies are sure to provide you with a memorable experience.

I am new to riding lessons but want to partake in your upcoming training show at cec. Can i enter?

We encourage riders of all levels and ages to partake!

Our shows are very laid-back and friendly and our instructors really go out of the way to provide a positive, boosting environment to teach all riders the ropes with regards to competition riding.

We have classes ranging from poles flat on the ground up to the higher heights for the more advanced riders.

is your venue available for photo shoots with the horses?

Absolutely Yes!

do you do pony birthday parties?

Yes we do!

Let the children experience the joy of riding horses and ponies, bath ponies, play 'boeresport' games or make horseshoe crafts for their rooms.

There are many options to choose from. We supply venue and horses. The catering and decor is up to you - although we have found many families loved the setting in nature and the kids have a blast!
